BROOKLYN, GERMANY, MARYLAND and MORE
the wee babe turns 10 months on monday! she has 2 teeth and sits up all by herself. she is also a master ukulele-ist.
so, now that she is clearly off and running, i’ve decided to climb (slowly) back into my creative life.
this starts with a fabulous new fellowship i am honored to be a part of at the 14th street y’s LABA HOUSE OF STUDY. 9 NYC-based artists/writers/musicians/chefs convene to create art in response to our monthly study of ancient jewish texts. best part: this year’s theme is EAT!
i also have a few shows coming up this fall. all of them should be wonderful, but i’m especially looking forward to my performance on NOVEMBER 5 in LEIPZIG, GERMANY. i will be performing my SILVER AND ASH song cycle (songs in english, story in GERMAN) in my grandmother’s hometown surrounded by an exhibit of my mother’s artwork. if you happen to be in the neighborhood, please stop by!
see you out there,
xo
